Having trouble with the Project Viewer in Paradox?

ProView is available for Paradox 7/32, 8, 9,10 and 11.

ProView is an alternative Project Viewer for Corel Paradox ©. ProView never causes irritating delays while changing directory to a network one. ProView shows private directory content in a separate list and offers a lot of additional capabilities compared to the standard Project Viewer. During it's first start, ProView automatically adds itself to the standard Paradox menu in the Tools section and copies itself to the VMSoft subdirectory of the Windows program files directory. If you obtain an updated copy of ProView, just start it, and automatic update will proceed.

ProView contains two kinds of functionality:

• Freeware - most functions works in the unregistered copy
• Shareware - developer's extensions, activated by unlock code

Developer's extensions include:

1. Drag-n-drop functionality - provides an easy-to-use method to add tables to queries and form's/report's data models, to insert file names, table fields and indexes, .txt and .qbe files content into code editor windows, to copy/rename Paradox objects.
2. Object Repository - provides a convenient way to organize the storage of design objects, the whole Paradox objects and code fragments and easily reuse them by dragging from the repository to forms, reports and editor windows.
3. Project Manager - allows the user easily switching between the whole projects by one mouse click.
4. Project aliases manager - an alternative alias manager, supports alias sets, provides an easy way to activate and deactivate alias sets and single aliases.
5. Passwords sets manager - supports password sets (protected themselves by password), provides an easy way to activate and deactivate password sets.
6. The Favorites buttons sets manager - allows the user to create practically unlimited number of ten-buttons sets and easily switching between them.
7. Advanced Floating Panel without nag screen.
8. Global search and replace.
9. The Reference Center.

To install or update ProView, download self-extracting ProViewSetup.exe, run it, select any directory you want to extract to, then start Paradox and open the ProView.fdl from this directory. ProView will be automatically installed to your system. Then restart Paradox and you will see ProView menu item in the Tools section of the Paradox menu.
